Job summary

BASE life science is a Denmark-based, globally active life sciences consulting firm delivering data-driven solutions for master data management and data platforms. The role is to be the SME for MDM or data platform implementations for life sciences clients, tackling CE data challenges and turning requirements into practical data solutions.

You will bring third-party reference data (IQVIA, Veeva) together with client data and collaborate with architects, consultants and client stakeholders to

Qualifications

• Subject matter expert in either MDM implementations or data platform implementations for life sciences clients.
• Solid understanding of data management and its challenges in the CE domain.
• General understanding of CE processes within CRM, marketing automation, consent management, and event/engagement management.
• Knowledge of data models from IQVIA OneKey, IQVIA sales and prescription data, or Veeva OpenData.
• Clear communication, spoken and written.

Why this role

We are a consulting firm that helps life sciences companies, locally and globally, get their commercial data right, from master data and data platforms to customer engagement programmes. In this role, you’ll be the person clients and project teams turn to when the data questions get hard.

We welcome people from two backgrounds: master data management (MDM) or data platforms. You don’t need to cover both. We’re looking for real depth in one.

What you’ll do

• Act as the subject matter expert on MDM or data platform pre-implementation or implementations for life sciences clients, depending on your background
• Tackle the data challenges typical of customer engagement, such as HCP/HCO data quality, CRM master and reference data
• Bring third-party reference data (IQVIA, Veeva) together with client data
• Work with architects, functional consultants and client stakeholders to turn requirements into working data solutions

What you bring

• A proven track record as a subject matter expert in either:
  • MDM implementations (e.g. Informatica MDM, Reltio MDM), or
  • data platform implementations (e.g. Databricks, Snowflake, Informatica IDMC)
• A solid understanding of data management and its typical challenges in the customer engagement (CE) domain
• A general understanding of CE processes within CRM, marketing automation, consent management, and event and engagement management
• Good knowledge of the data models of at least one key data provider: IQVIA OneKey, IQVIA sales and prescription data, or Veeva OpenData
• Clear communication, spoken and written

A plus if you have

• Deep knowledge of one or more CE processes
• A certification in an MDM solution (Informatica MDM, Reltio MDM) or a data platform (Databricks, Snowflake, Informatica)
• GAMP 5 training or hands‑on experience

This position is offered in Denmark and Spain.
