Job summary

AIAIAI is seeking a plugged-in Community Specialist to be the boots-on-the-ground voice in digital music spaces. You will cultivate grassroots relationships with producers, bedroom beatmakers, and niche fan communities to drive authentic peer-to-peer connections for a global 20s music demographic.

Based at our Frederiksberg HQ in a hybrid setup, you’ll manage online presence across Reddit, Discord, and social channels, stay ahead of micro-trends, and advocate for creators within AIAIAI’s

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of electronic music scenes, subgenres, gear meta, and youth culture.
• Native digital citizenship with strong online communication and community etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Manage AIAIAI’s presence across Reddit, music subreddits, and Discord communities.
• Outreach to creators and fan pages on Instagram, TikTok, and X to build authentic relations.
• Seed gear to up-and-coming electronic artists and underground DJs.
• Translate trends into actionable tactics for creator-focused campaigns.
• Advocate for creator culture within AIAIAI and ensure campaigns stay grounded in real producer culture.

Job description

AIAIAI is looking for a plugged-in, music-obsessed Community Specialist to serve as our boots-on-the-ground voice across digital music spaces. You live in Discord servers, post on music subreddits, know which electronic subgenres are trending before they hit the charts, and track the fan accounts shaping youth music culture.

In this role, you will cultivate real, grassroots relationships with rising producers, bedroom beatmakers, niche fan communities, and subculture catalysts to drive authentic peer-to-peer connection within the global 20s music demographic.

Tasks

• Reddit & Online Community Ownership: Manage AIAIAI’s active presence across subreddits like r/edmproduction, r/synthesizers, and r/FL_Studio, as well as music Discord communities. Drive high-value discussions, answer gear questions, and gather raw feedback.
• Fan Account & Grassroots Creator Outreach: Map out, contact, and build authentic relationships with creators running influential music meme pages, fan accounts, and emerging track-id channels on Instagram, TikTok, and X.
• Seeding & Tastemaker Relations: Get AIAIAI gear into the hands of up-and-coming electronic artists, bedroom producers, and underground DJs who shape local and online scenes.
• Trend & Cultural Intelligence: Stay ahead of micro-trends in electronic music, bedroom production tech, and young music culture. Continuously translate these insights into actionable tactics and proposals to keep AIAIAI relevant, sharp, and engaging across the creator and music culture landscape.
• Community Advocacy: Act as the internal voice of young creators within AIAIAI, ensuring our campaigns stay grounded in real producer culture.

Requirements

• Deeply Embedded in Electronic Music: You go to local shows, listen to obscure SoundCloud drops, and keep up with electronic subgenres, gear meta, and youth music culture.
• Native Digital Citizen: You understand internet culture, Reddit etiquette, and how music communities communicate online.
• Natural Connector: Highly proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable reaching out to anyone, from a small fan page admin to a rising underground DJ.
• Gear-Literate: Basic familiarity with DAWs, DJ setups, or music production equipment.
