Job summary

Terma Group is seeking a Commercial Business Analyst to transform commercial data into actionable insights and to develop the systems, dashboards and processes that empower sales and marketing teams. Your role as part of the team

As our new Commercial Business Analyst, you will operate at the intersection of business, data and technology. You will transform commercial data into actionable insights while supporting and developing the systems, dashboards and processes that help our sales and marketing teams succeed. A key part of the role is building and maintaining trusted pipeline and forecasting dashboards that enable data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

In this role, you will contribute to a range of tasks across your area of responsibility. Your key responsibilities include:

• Design, build and maintain pipeline and forecasting dashboards that provide a trusted and consistent view of commercial performance across Business Areas and regions
• Deliver commercial analyses and insights related to pipeline development, forecasting, sales performance, order intake and win/loss trends, translating findings into actionable recommendations
• Own and continuously improve reporting, dashboard governance and KPI definitions while driving data quality, adoption and common ways of working across the organization
• Support and develop CRM and commercial systems, including user support, configuration, testing, data governance and coordination with IT and external vendors
• Train, coach and support users, promote best practices, and explore opportunities within automation and AI‑assisted reporting while validating outputs against source data.

To thrive in this role, we imagine that you bring some of the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree within business, economics, engineering, data/IT or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience within commercial analysis, sales operations, business analysis or a similar role, preferably in a B2B or project‑driven environment
• Hands‑on experience with CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce, including pipeline, opportunity and forecasting data
• Strong analytical skills with experience building dashboards, working with KPI design, data modelling and advanced Excel
• Experience using AI‑assisted tools such as Claude for reporting and analysis, combined with the ability to validate results and communicate insights clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
