Job summary

Banking Circle is hiring a Cloud Engineer in Copenhagen to help develop our internal Developer and Observability Platforms, enhancing developer productivity and operational stability. You will work in a hybrid setting, focusing on Azure-based services, Go and Terraform-based automation.

You should have 4+ years in Cloud/DevOps, hands-on Azure experience, and strong communication to document security practices and share knowledge across teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in Cloud/DevOps/Platform Engineering.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Azure (Kubernetes, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults).
• Experience with Azure DevOps Services (CI/CD pipelines and git repositories).
• Terraform knowledge is advantageous.

• Automate provisioning and secure configuration of the cloud environment.
• Set up modern monitoring and logging solutions for reliability.

In this role you will get the chance to work on the development of our internal Developer and Observability Platforms which play a key role in developer productivity and operational stability.

• Azure Data and Messaging Services (Redis, Service Bus, Event Hub)
• Programming languages (Go, Terraform)

We offer a hybrid work model for our employees to allow for flexibility and productivity. However, we do expect you to spend most of your time in the office to build community and efficiency in the team.

Things we’ll look for on your resume

To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have a demonstrated capability from an applicable role preferably within a bank, financial service provider or a regulated entity where you have at least 4 years of relevant working experience in a Cloud/DevOps/Platform Engineering team.

You have hands‑on experience in setting up and managing architectures and environments in Microsoft Azure (Kubernetes, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults), Azure DevOps Services (CI/CD pipelines and git repositories) and Terraform is considered as an advantage.

As a person, you have an open‑minded, can‑do attitude. You thrive in a working environment where you are encouraged to take personal ownership of your tasks while also being a team‑player dedicated to the success of the team. You also possess strong skills in communicating security principles, issues and incidents to peers and management, you also prioritize the importance of producing and maintaining related documentation and reports to ensure the knowledge sharing with your colleagues.
