Job summary

ARO Inc. in Aarhus is seeking a Student Quant Trader to join the quant/engineering team. You will help push algorithms and tooling forward while working with real-time and historical data in a cloud-first environment.

You’ll develop Python tooling for analysis and automation, perform ad-hoc data work, and collaborate with engineers and the quant team to deliver production-ready solutions. Flexible hours and a strong learning environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Study finance, economics, computer science, software engineering, data science, mathematics, physics or a similar quantitative field.
• Strong in Python and data analysis.
• Familiar with Excel for data handling, pivots and modelling.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and oversight of trading algorithms and strategies.
• Build and maintain Python tooling for analysis, monitoring, validation and automation.
• Support quant traders with ad-hoc analyses, data extracts and fast answers.
• Work with real-time and historical trading data hosted in GCP.
• Improve reliability in a 24/7 trading setup with observability and alerts.
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams on cloud-based multi-service platform integrations (Node.js and C#).
