GlobalConnect is seeking a Claims & Operations Specialist in Copenhagen to own Danish network damage claims from start to finish, coordinating with Nordic partners and driving cost recovery.
You will support broader operational work around network repair costs, reporting and administration, with room to grow as you learn the business and take on more responsibility under the Head of Service Assurance.
As our Claims & Operations Specialist in Copenhagen, you will own an important operational process from start to finish while gradually building a broader role within Service Assurance. You will work across claims, cost follow-up, partner coordination and process improvement, with plenty of opportunity to learn the business along the way.
The core of your role will be to make sure GlobalConnect recovers costs when a third party damages our network. But this is not only a claims position. You will also support the wider operational work around network repair costs, reporting, administration and improving how these processes are handled.
The scope is expected to develop over time, giving you the opportunity to take on more responsibility as you learn the business and our operational setup. You will report to the Head of Service Assurance and work with colleagues and partners across the Nordics.
You will own Danish network damage claims from start to finish. When our technicians identify that a third party has damaged the network, you will pick up the case, gather the necessary documentation, clarify repair costs and contact the party responsible. You will then keep the case moving until the cost has been recovered or the matter is otherwise resolved.
Claims handling in Norway, Sweden and Finland is supported by an external partner. You will represent GlobalConnect in the day-to-day cooperation with this partner, follow the progress of cases, help resolve questions or missing information and make sure we maintain visibility and ownership of the process internally.
Alongside claims, you will contribute to a wider range of Service Assurance activities. This can include following up network repair costs, supporting financial and administrative processes, maintaining reporting and tracking, coordinating information across teams and helping improve workflows and ways of working. As the role develops, this part of your responsibility is expected to grow.
You like having clear ownership and are comfortable being the person who keeps a case moving until it is finished. You work in a structured way and can maintain an overview when several cases are active at the same time. Some cases will require patience and repeated follow-up, so persistence matters. You should also be comfortable communicating directly and professionally with third parties, including when responsibility or payment is being discussed.
You do not need to know claims or telecom before joining. Experience from areas such as operations, administration, finance, debt collection, case management or supplier coordination can all provide a relevant starting point. What matters is that you are comfortable taking responsibility, learning new processes and helping create a more structured way of working.
