Job summary

AstraZeneca Nordic Marketing Company in Copenhagen, Denmark, is seeking a senior Medical Affairs leader to set medical strategy, drive evidence generation, and strengthen scientific engagement across a portfolio spanning pre-launch to life-cycle management.

The role leads a high-performing team, champions responsible AI adoption, guides strategy with payers, patients and clinicians, and ensures governance, compliance and external partnerships to accelerate patient impact.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Natural Sciences or related field.
• Experience leading Medical Affairs strategy, operations and capabilities.
• Launch and lifecycle experience for complex portfolios.
• Fluent in English and local language.
• Strong evidence generation, regulatory and HTA understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead the country Integrated Medical Plan aligning priorities with patient needs and evidence gaps.
• Shape the country evidence strategy including real-world evidence and health data.
• Represent AstraZeneca in scientific and healthcare forums.
• Drive responsible AI adoption with human oversight.
• Provide senior governance of benefit–risk, compliance and regulatory matters.
• Influence cross-functional strategy with Market Access, HTA and business planning.
• Develop leadership and organizational excellence; build external expert networks.
