Job summary

Swiss IT Security Group AG in Denmark seeks a Chief Consultant to lead and grow a team of about 20 security specialists. You will coach consultants, drive day-to-day operations, shape performance, and push forward cybersecurity, automation, and AI initiatives while upholding a people-first culture.

You will collaborate with leadership and HR to define annual OKRs, nurture talent, and ensure high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading IT security teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and people-first mindset.
• Experience with SIEM, SOC, and SOAR is a plus.
• Business proficiency in Danish and English (written and spoken).
• Available full-time and able to work 2–3 days/week at the office.
• Work eligibility to live in Denmark.

As Chief Consultant, you will lead and support a team of highly specialised security consultants and analysts, ensuring successful day-to-day operations, project delivery, and team development. You will play a key role in shaping team performance, driving collaboration, supporting employee growth, and helping the business advance its ambitions in cybersecurity, automation, and AI while maintaining the high standards and strong culture the team is known for.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead the day-to-day operations of several teams with a total of approximately 20 members, ensuring successful delivery of tasks, projects, and team objectives.
• Manage, coach, and mentor consultants and technical specialists through one-to-ones, performance reviews, and personal and professional development conversations.
• Act as a trusted coach and problem solver, supporting team members while fostering a people-first and team-driven culture.
• Collaborate closely with leadership and HR stakeholders, to strengthen team performance and employee development.
• Define and drive annual OKRs for teams, aligning priorities and performance with broader business objectives.
• Support the organization’s continued focus on cybersecurity excellence and automations while helping maintain a highly engaged and retained workforce.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

We’re looking for a people-focused chief consultant who is passionate about developing teams and creating a supportive, collaborative environment. You combine management experience with an understanding of IT security, enjoy coaching others to succeed, and believe that team achievements and challenges are shared by everyone.

• Experience: Demonstrable experience leading a team, including coaching, mentoring, performance management, and supporting professional development. You bring 5 years of experience working in IT security environments and are comfortable leading teams of consultants and technical specialists. Experience working in SIEM, SOC, and SOAR is a plus.
• Skills: Strong stakeholder management skills with a people-first mindset. You are a supportive coach, effective problem solver, and collaborative team player who drives team-wide results. Experience defining and managing OKRs is beneficial. Familiarity with NLP leadership principles is a plus.
• Languages: Business proficient in Danish and English, both written and verbal.
• Education/certifications: A degree relevant to IT security and/or business as well as any relevant security certifications are considered a plus.
• Availability: You’re available fulltime and can work at the office at least 2-3 days a week (including Fridays).
• Work Eligibility: You must already hold a valid working visa for and already live in Denmark to qualify for this role
