Job summary

Maersk Air Cargo in Copenhagen is seeking a CAMO Maintenance Planner to coordinate maintenance activities that keep the fleet safe, compliant and available. You will translate requirements into executable plans and supervise schedules and material readiness.

Working with CAMO, MCC, and external MROs, you will manage line and base maintenance planning, ensure documentation accuracy and support continuous improvement while prioritising safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Experience within CAMO, aircraft maintenance planning, airline maintenance, Part-145 organisations or a similar aviation environment.
  • Good understanding of EASA Part-CAMO and Part-145 regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Programmes and MSG-3 maintenance principles.
  • Experience using aircraft maintenance systems and digital maintenance records is advantageous.
  • Strong planning, analytical and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage competing demands.
  • A structured and detail-oriented approach with a strong focus on safety, compliance and data integrity.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Experience with Boeing freighter aircraft and cargo airline operations is highly desirable
  • 5 days per week onsite presence at the advertised location

Responsibilities

  • Plan scheduled line and base maintenance activities in accordance with approved Aircraft Maintenance Programmes and company procedures.
  • Develop, prepare and coordinate maintenance work packages for scheduled maintenance inputs.
  • Monitor maintenance due dates, compliance requirements and planning risks, proactively escalating constraints where required.
  • Coordinate the implementation of Airworthiness Directives, Engineering Orders, modifications and other approved technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with Logistics teams to ensure material, component, tooling and modification kit readiness.
  • Liaise with Part-145 organisations and MRO providers before, during and after maintenance events.
  • Review maintenance documentation for completeness and support accurate updates within the Aircraft Maintenance System.
  • Ensure maintenance records and documentation are processed and filed in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Support the enhancement of maintenance planning systems, data quality initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
  • Provide planning support during operational disruptions and changing fleet priorities to maintain fleet availability.

About the Role

We are looking for a CAMO Maintenance Planner to join our Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) in Copenhagen. This is a pivotal role responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities that keep our fleet safe, compliant and operationally efficient.

As a CAMO Maintenance Planner, you will work at the heart of our maintenance operation, translating maintenance requirements into executable plans while maintaining oversight of aircraft availability, maintenance schedules, material readiness and stakeholder dependencies. The role offers exposure to both line and base maintenance planning, providing an excellent opportunity to broaden your expertise across multiple aspects of aircraft maintenance management.

Working closely with CAMO colleagues, Maintenance Control Centre (MCC), Technical Records, Logistics teams, Part-145 organisations and external MRO providers, you will help ensure maintenance activities are delivered on time, within compliance requirements and with minimal disruption to operations.
