Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Professional in Finance to lead Manufacturing FP&A activities, including planning, monthly close, and performance reporting. The role focuses on providing insights to drive cost competitiveness and strategic decisions across factories.

You will partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and senior leaders, own dashboards and models, and champion process improvements and automation to scale reporting across the global network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Relevant FP&A, Business Finance, Controlling or Management Reporting experience.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, performance management and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with SAP and Power BI.
• Experience from manufacturing, operations, or a leading consulting firm.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end monthly closing and performance reporting for Manufacturing.
• Deliver clear variance analysis vs. budget and forecast.
• Explain movements using financial and operational drivers.
• Highlight key risks, opportunities and one‑off effects.
• Manage forecasting and budgeting processes for assigned manufacturing scope.
• Coordinate inputs across factories, functions and stakeholders.
• Gather, review, and validate assumptions to support accurate results.
• Prepare senior management and SteerCo materials.
• Translate financial results into clear insights and decision‑relevant messages.
• Ensure consistency, accuracy and high‑quality storytelling.
• Own and maintain KPIs and performance tracking for assigned areas.
• Maintain and enhance dashboards, models, templates, and reporting tools.
• Ensure data integrity, scalability and automation.
• Act as a key finance partner to factories and operational stakeholders.
• Coordinate across Manufacturing Finance, Manufacturing and other functions.
• Support alignment, follow-up and on‑time delivery across the finance calendar.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Support the Head of Business Finance and Head of Manufacturing Finance with ad hoc analyses.

Manufacturing Finance is essential to improving operational and financial performance across Vestas's global manufacturing network. We partner closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement and senior leadership teams to provide financial insights, support strategic decision making and ensure cost competitiveness.

The position plays a critical role in ensuring transparency, control and insight into cost performance, while supporting senior management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities / Activities

Performance Reporting & Insights

• Manage forecasting and budgeting processes for assigned manufacturing scope

Management & SteerCo Reporting

• Prepare senior management and SteerCo materials
• Translate financial results into clear insights and decision‑relevant messages
• Ensure consistency, accuracy and high‑quality storytelling

Performance Frameworks, KPIs & Tools

• Own and maintain KPIs and performance tracking for assigned areas
• Ensure KPIs are well‑defined, relevant and actionable
• Maintain and enhance dashboards, models, templates, and reporting tools
• Ensure data integrity, scalability and automation

Business Partnering, Coordination & Improvement

• Act as a key finance partner to factories and operational stakeholders
• Serve as a coordination point across Manufacturing Finance, Manufacturing and other functions
• Support alignment, follow-up and on‑time delivery across the finance calendar
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
• Support the Head of Business Finance and Head of Manufacturing Finance with ad hoc analyses, deep dives and selected strategic topics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
• Relevant experience within FP&A, Business Finance, Controlling or Management Reporting
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, performance management and variance analysis
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with SAP and Power BI
• Experience from manufacturing, operations, or a leading consulting firm
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
