Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Business Finance and Planning Analyst to join the Manufacturing Finance team in Denmark. You will own end-to-end monthly closings, deliver variance analyses, and translate financial results into actionable insights for senior management.

You will lead planning, forecasting and budgeting for assigned manufacturing scopes, coordinate inputs across factories, maintain KPIs and dashboards, and drive automation and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, planning and variance analysis.
• Expertise in Excel and financial modeling; SAP and Power BI experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, operations, or consulting.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

We partner closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement and senior leadership teams to provide financial insights, support strategic decision making and ensure cost competitiveness. Responsibilities The position plays a critical role in ensuring transparency, control and insight into cost performance, while supporting senior management decision-making. Key Responsibilities / Activities: Performance Reporting & Insights • Own end‐to‐end monthly closing and performance reporting for Manufacturing• Deliver clear variance analysis vs. budget and forecast• Explain movements using financial and operational drivers• Highlight key risks, opportunities and one‐off effects Planning, Forecasting & Budgeting • Manage forecasting and budgeting processes for assigned manufacturing scope• Coordinate inputs across factories, functions and stakeholders• Gather, review, and validate assumptions to support accurate results Management & SteerCo Reporting • Prepare senior management and SteerCo materials• Translate financial results into clear insights and decision‐relevant messages• Ensure consistency, accuracy and high‐quality storytelling Performance Frameworks, KPIs & Tools • Own and maintain KPIs and performance tracking for assigned areas• Ensure KPIs are well‐defined, relevant and actionable• Maintain and enhance dashboards, models, templates, and reporting tools• Ensure data integrity, scalability and automation Business Partnering, Coordination & Improvement • Act as a key finance partner to factories and operational stakeholders• Serve as a coordination point across Manufacturing Finance, Manufacturing and other functions• Support alignment, follow-up and on-time delivery across the finance calendar• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities• Support the Head of Business Finance and Head of Manufacturing Finance with ad hoc analyses, deep dives and selected strategic topics Qualifications• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field• Relevant experience within FP&A, Business Finance, Controlling or Management Reporting• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, performance management and variance analysis• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with SAP and Power BI• Experience from manufacturing, operations, or a leading consulting firm• Fluent in English, both written and spoken Competencies • FP&A and business partnering mindset with the ability to provide actionable insights• Solid analytical skills and ability to translate complexity into clear recommendations• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, including senior leadership interaction• High level of ownership, accountability and attention to detail• Initiative-driven, organized, and focused on continuous improvement• Capacity to meet goals through initiative and effective cooperation with colleagues in other areas What We Offer The opportunity to advance your career with Vestas while helping support the global shift toward renewable energyA key Manufacturing Finance role with wide exposure to senior leaders across Finance and ManufacturingAn engaging workplace that lets you refine processes, reporting, and performance management systemsThere are meaningful paths for growth and development in FP&A and business finance.
