Place of work: Hellerup Deadline: 15. november 2026
You know shipping. Now you can use that knowledge in a completely different way.
At NORDEN, our core business applications sit right at the heart of how our commercial teams work. But getting the most out of them is not only about the technology. It is about understanding how shipping actually works, how people use the systems every day and where things could work better.
As our new Business Application Manager, you will bring your shipping experience into that space.
You will work with colleagues across NORDEN to improve how we use our core business applications, optimise the processes around them and help turn business needs into better ways of working.
You do not need to come from IT or have worked as a Business Application Manager before. You understand shipping, likely from operations, control/finance or laytime and are curious about how systems and technology can make the business work better.
Because you get to use your shipping knowledge from a completely new angle.
You will join our Business Applications team of six colleagues across Copenhagen, Cyprus and Singapore, working closely with colleagues from the business as well as Digital Services and Solutions.
Your primary focus will be IMOS, but your work will also take you into applications such as SEDNA, PortLog, Shipfix and other tools used across NORDEN.
Some days you might be looking at how a process could work better in IMOS. Others you could be helping colleagues get more out of an application, supporting a new implementation or working with our commercial AI assistant tools.
What connects it all is understanding how people work today and finding ways for our systems and processes to support them better.
Your base will be our office in Hellerup, with occasional travel to other NORDEN offices.
You will work where shipping, people, processes and technology meet.
You will:
You do not need to be an IT specialist. What matters most is your understanding of shipping and how these applications are used in practice. You may have used them as an end user up to now, and that experience could be exactly what makes you well suited for this role.
Besides this you likely:
You are curious about how people work and what could make their day-to-day easier. You listen, ask questions and connect the dots between people, processes and systems, turning what you learn into practical improvements.
