Job summary

The BRIDGE – Translational Excellence Programme at the University of Copenhagen invites 14 postdoctoral fellows to begin on 1 September 2027. Fellows conduct translational research spanning T0 to T2 under Mentor Teams in collaboration with SUND/SCIENCE labs and clinical partners in the Capital Region of Denmark or Region Zealand.

Appointments are for two years, full-time, with a strong emphasis on bridging basic biomedical research with clinical science and the life science industry.

Qualifications

• The PhD must have been obtained no more than eight years before the application deadline.
• As a current PhD student, you may apply if you expect your thesis to be submitted before 1 September 2027.
• In Denmark, postdoc positions can total four years at one university; at most two years prior to enrolment may come from a single department.
