Job summary

Collen in Copenhagen seeks a meticulous Bid Writer to support preconstruction and bid activities across Europe. You will translate complex design information into clear, visual narratives and high-quality bid responses, collaborating with stakeholders and the graphics team.

Based in our Copenhagen office, you will organize writing workshops, distill engineering concepts into plain English for clients, and drive rigorous, evidence-based proposals that reflect Collen’s standards and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree level education equivalent to EQF Level 6 preferred, however other educational backgrounds will be considered.
• Ability to distil complex engineering concepts into plain English for clients.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Experience in writing bid responses and developing high-quality bids.
• Open and adaptable approach to developing solutions with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Based in Copenhagen/Denmark with international bid responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and finalise high quality bid responses to meet the deadlines of the bid.
• Collaborate with section owners to develop technical responses and proofreading.
• Organise and facilitate writing workshops with stakeholders.
• Produce high-quality graphical responses with graphics team.
• Assist with presentations and supporting documentation.
• Integrate review comments and finalise bid responses by deadlines.
• Develop case studies and documents with the preconstruction team.
