Job summary

ÅBEN is seeking a Sales-driven Event Manager to grow the events area across its bars. You will handle proactive sales, concept development and end-to-end planning from enquiry to follow-up, with a focus on turning first-time guests into regulars.

The role is based at the Kødbyen office with evenings and weekends as part of events; collaboration with Bar Managers, the Event Coordinator for Kødbyen and Marketing is essential to deliver memorable guest experiences in line with ÅBEN’s values.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of experience in sales, planning and running events.
• Strong commercial sense with targets and budgets.
• Excellent communication and guest relation skills.
• Understanding ÅBEN’s brand and translating it into guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Drive proactive sales and manage day-to-day dialogue with guests and companies.
• Lead projects from initial enquiry to final follow-up, including pricing and planning.
• Develop new concepts and recurring formats to increase bar guest flow.
• Optimize sales channels, booking sites and internal processes.
• Coordinate across bars to ensure consistent standards and execution.
• Be present at larger events to ensure quality and support staff.
