Job summary

Mastercard in Denmark is seeking a Software Engineer II to join our scrum-based teams. You will develop Java backend services within modern microservices architecture, contribute to both backend and frontend aspects, and collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements.

You will ensure security, stability, and scalability, work with DevOps and QA, and help advance architecture and engineering practices while learning new technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS or Engineering.
• Strong experience with Java backend and microservices.
• Frontend development experience is a plus.
• 2–4 years delivering secure solutions in a regulated sector.

Responsibilities

• Build functional software that meets the requirements.
• Work with stakeholders and team to understand and develop requirements.
• Ensure security, stability and scalability of our software.
• Work with DevOps and QA to automate and simplify the SDLC.
• Share knowledge and support the growth of your teammates.
