Job summary

Satair is seeking a Backend API Automation Tester to elevate the quality of our e-commerce platform and services from Copenhagen, Denmark. You will design automated test frameworks for backend services and APIs, and collaborate with DevOps, QA, and development teams to ensure scalable, secure backend systems.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years of backend/API testing experience, strong Playwright expertise, and solid knowledge of RESTful/SOAP APIs, OAuth/JWT, and CI/CD integration.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in backend/API testing.
• Proficient in Playwright and automation scripting using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP methods, headers, status codes and authentication flows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for backend services and APIs.
• Create and execute API tests using Playwright; automate OAuth, JWT, and API key flows.
• Validate RESTful and SOAP APIs for functionality, performance, and schema integrity.
