Job summary

Caseware in Copenhagen, Denmark, seeks a Software Developer in Test to design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks for Caseware’s web-based SaaS products.

You will collaborate with developers and product specialists to refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and testability, and mentor junior SDET team members. The role requires mid-level QA experience, strong analytical skills, Cypress expertise, and bilingual Danish/English abilities. Remote options are available.

Qualifications

• Mid-level 3–5 years in QA, test automation, or SDET roles.
• Hands-on experience testing complex web applications, preferably SaaS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with structured approach.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks for Caseware’s web-based SaaS products.
• Perform and coordinate functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product specialists to refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and testability.
• Analyze requirements and technical designs to identify risk areas and critical test scenarios.
• Investigate, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis.
• Improve test coverage, test reliability, and overall QA processes.
• Mentor and coach junior SDET team members.
• Promote and advocate for quality best practices across the engineering organization.
