Job summary

TICRA is seeking a backend engineer for CAD and computational geometry to transform geometry for solvers and to build robust, maintainable software. You will contribute to the OpenCascade-based geometry tooling while collaborating with numerical algorithms and front-end teams to improve automation and reliability.

We value deep geometry expertise, practical programming in C++/Rust/C, and the ability to design modular, production-quality software.

Qualifications

• Strong practical programming experience in compiled languages (C++, Rust, C or Fortran).
• Solid background in computational geometry (meshing, CAD, geometry kernels, 3D rendering or topology).
• Comfortable with professional development workflows: build systems, VCS, issue tracking, code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement logic transforming user-defined geometry to match the numerical algorithm.
• Develop systems ensuring algorithms work across multiple development cycles.
• Write new code that is reliable and maintainable in an interactive application.
• Perform refactors to make code more modular, easier to use and maintain.
• Build tooling that improves code quality and development processes.
• Collaborate with numerical algorithms, meshing researchers and front-end teams to remove user workload.
