Job summary

SimCorp is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Product Division. You will design and implement backend APIs with C#/.NET, contribute to cloud modernization and scalable services, and ensure high performance and testability.

You’ll work with AI-enabled features and CI/CD in a collaborative, agile team. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, learning new technologies including Dyalog APL, and close collaboration with product owners to deliver robust software for our investment

Qualifications

• C#/.NET development experience.
• Backend development and API design.
• CI/CD and automated testing practices.
• Oracle or similar relational DB experience.
• Cloud technologies and Azure services.
• Willingness to learn Dyalog APL.
• Interest in AI-assisted software engineering.
• Experience with financial instruments is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend APIs and services.
• Work with Dyalog APL and other product technologies.
• Contribute to cloud modernization and scalable service design.
• Improve performance, maintainability, testability and developer experience.
• Use CI/CD, automated testing and code reviews daily.
• Apply AI ideas to practical engineering work and prototypes.
• Collaborate with product owners and engineers to translate customer needs.
• Support continuous improvement of the product and development processes.
