We are looking for an Audio & Software Manager to manage our Audio & Software team and enhance development capability across R&D.

In the role of Audio & Software Manager in the FalCom R&D team, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. You will combine people management with technical ownership, ensuring the development of reliable audio and software solutions for demanding communication environments.

The Team you will be part of:

You will join FalCom R&D, where we develop advanced communication solutions for demanding environments. Our multidisciplinary solutions integrate with customers’ communication systems and are developed in close collaboration across engineering disciplines.

The Audio & Software team contributes across development projects, creating robust and reliable audio and software as part of the complete solution. We value technical expertise, collaboration and ownership. We communicate openly, address risks early and work together to deliver on our commitments.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

• Manage and develop the Audio & Software team, supporting technical capability and effective ways of working.
• Own and continuously improve the audio and software development approach, including methods, tools and quality practices.
• Ensure structured audio and software development that supports quality outcomes and reliable delivery.
• Collaborate with Systems, Verification and Hardware teams to enable effective integration across the complete solution.
• Create transparency on progress, quality, dependencies, gaps and risks to support informed decisions.
• Support a collaborative team environment where people take ownership, share knowledge and address challenges early.

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:

• Bring solid experience with audio and software development for complex technical products.
• Have a technical understanding of embedded software and its interaction with hardware.
• May have experience with software architecture, development practices and relevant tools.
• Have experience managing and developing people, as well as technical capabilities.
• Bring a structured and analytical approach and can create clear direction in complex development environments.
• Are proficient in English, verbally and in writing.
