VirtualWorks Hub in the Faroe-Islands is seeking an experienced Architectural Designer to lead design concepts, ensure client specifications, codes, and budgets are met. The role requires collaboration with clients, preparation of CAD drawings, and supervision of on-site implementation.

You will work with contractors and stakeholders to deliver projects on schedule, while adhering to sustainable practices and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as an Architectural Designer.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes and construction techniques.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and develop design concepts accordingly
• Ensure designs comply with building codes and regulations to ensure compliance
• Create detailed architectural drawings using CAD software
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and project timelines
• Supervise construction teams to ensure the implementation of approved designs
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
