Are you an AOCS engineer who dreams of building systems that keep satellites steady, precise, and mission-ready as they orbit Earth?
Do you find inspiration in transforming equations, algorithms, and hardware into technologies that silently guide spacecraft through the darkness of space?
Our satellites deliver impact that reaches far beyond Earth’s orbit — turning space into opportunity, mission by mission. If you want to join a company where ambition meets precision, and where your work truly leaves Earth, this is your chance.
You’ll work at the very core of spacecraft capability: how a satellite understands itself, stabilizes, maneuvers, and performs on orbit. Depending on your strengths and interests, you’ll join either our Products Business Unit, where you help shape and refine the AOCS technologies powering our satellite platforms, or our Programs Business Unit, where you contribute to full missions from concept to launch and beyond.
Your work will bridge analytical modeling with hands‑on engineering. You’ll simulate spacecraft dynamics, design control strategies, develop software that must perform flawlessly in orbit, refine our AOCS architectures, and support real spacecraft in our cleanroom — and eventually in space. You’ll collaborate with mission teams, Systems Engineering, and customers to ensure every spacecraft we build performs precisely as intended when it matters most.
In the initial phase, success means:
Longer term, you’ll take ownership of AOCS architecture evolution, contribute to next‑generation pointing and control solutions, and help shape the capabilities of the next wave of GOMSPACE spacecraft — systems that will orbit Earth for years to come.
You’re a technically strong engineer who finds purpose in building systems that behave reliably in the unforgiving environment of space. You’re motivated by the elegance of control theory, the challenge of spacecraft dynamics, and the satisfaction of turning physics and code into something that can fly. You value precision. You appreciate the art and discipline behind creating something that must operate without hesitation, correction, or compromise hundreds of kilometers above Earth. And you take pride in building solutions that last.
You’re not just an engineer — you’re someone who wants to see the systems you build operate in orbit, where precision is everything and where engineering transforms into something almost poetic. You’re curious, rigorous, collaborative, and driven by the feeling of seeing a spacecraft you helped create perform flawlessly above our planet.
You bring:
At GomSpace, you won’t just work on a product — you’ll help create spacecraft that orbit Earth, expand knowledge, connect people, and open new possibilities far beyond our atmosphere. We believe innovation thrives when talented people are trusted, supported, and inspired to push boundaries together. Here, your work will matter — to missions, to partners, and to the long‑term evolution of space technology.
You are welcome to send your application in English. Interviews will be conducted on a continuous basis. If you have any questions regarding the position do not hesitate to contact: Gaetano Livornese, AOCS TeamLead. E‑mail: gali@gomspace.com
The primary workplace will ideally be at our premises at Langagervej 6, Aalborg, Denmark, but it can also be at our office in Luxembourg. Salary and start date will be individually negotiated.
As part of our recruitment process, employment requires you to complete a background check conducted by an authorized third‑party provider in accordance with applicable legislation.
