Job summary

Lever, Inc. partners to hire a Product Engineer (AI-Native) based in Denmark. You will own features end-to-end, from problem identification to production delivery, working with AI agents as your primary development partners in a remote, international team.

You will shape specifications with external providers, review AI-generated code for reliability, and ensure production readiness across owned features. This role offers a high-autonomy, entrepreneurial environment and a strong product mindset.

Qualifications

• Senior-level engineering ownership of production systems end-to-end.
• Backend engineer with architecture, deployment, and integrations experience.
• Proficient with AI coding agents as a primary development workflow.
• Interest in evolving agentic software development and continuous learning.
• Strong ownership and entrepreneurial mindset to drive impact with minimal guidance.
• Critically review AI-generated code and technical solutions for reliability.

Responsibilities

• Own product features end-to-end from problem to production delivery.
• Identify what to build and drive initiatives without detailed specs.
• Collaborate with external partners and service providers on integrations.
• Define and review product/technical specifications with AI agents.
• Delegate tasks to AI agents and review outputs in a large production codebase.
• Evaluate AI-generated implementations for accuracy and reliability.
• Test features with emphasis on transaction reliability and correctness.
• Own architecture, integrations, deployment, and production readiness.
• Contribute to an AI-first development process within a distributed team.
