Job description

Document Drafter / Full-time

As Product Builder you will play a central role in developing innovative AI-powered product solutions that create meaningful value for Document Drafter’s users.

Some product challenges and priorities will already be defined, while others will require you to work from a single sentence. Either way you will explore user problems, challenge assumptions, and help determine what should be built.

The role

Working closely with founders, fellow builders, and domain experts, you will have the opportunity to influence product decisions and contribute directly to the development of Document Drafter's AI product capabilities. You will be building and integrating AI agents into existing products and workflows, while continuously experimenting with new approaches and possibilities.

AI coding agents are an integral part of the development process and agents write 99% of the code produced. The focus is on understanding what needs to be built, effectively getting AI agents to build and verify, experimenting with different approaches, and ensuring that the resulting solutions create meaningful value for users.

Some of your main responsibilities as Product Builder include:

• Contribute to product decisions and identify opportunities for innovation in the product
• Build AI agents as features within Document Drafter's products
• Use AI agents to write and verify code across the full stack
• Collaborate closely with founders, fellow builders, and domain experts to shape products and solutions

Professional criteria

In terms of experience and capabilities, the candidate should have:

• A demonstrated track record of building and shipping features end-to-end
• Hands-on experience building and launching AI agents as product features
• Strong product mindset and genuine interest in understanding users, workflows and domain
• Ability to work effectively with loosely defined requirements and turn ambiguity into solutions
• Experience with delivering a product to a market (vs. internal software or consultant services)
• Great judgement: What to build, what will break, what correct means, where to trust agents, where verification effort is needed, when to stop and ask

Experience with the exact technology stack is not required. What matters most is an AI-first mindset, the ability to effectively leverage AI agents to turn ideas into working software, and the curiosity and willingness to continuously explore new possibilities.

The team and working environment

The environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and highly product-oriented. Rather than working from narrowly defined tickets, engineers are expected to take ownership, navigate ambiguity, and contribute actively to both problem definition and solution.

With the team primarily working together from the Copenhagen office, close collaboration and spontaneous problem-solving are an important part of the way of working.
