Job summary

You will manage a 10–20 person team, report to the Head of Core Banking, and drive transformation while maintaining operational stability in a highly regulated financial environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical background; capable of technical discussions and decisions.
• Experience as manager/technical lead in banking/financial IT.
• Experience with Mainframe or core banking platforms and modern architectures.
• Experience building technology roadmaps and translating strategy into concrete plans.
• Proven track record of driving technology change and transformation.
• Strong stakeholder management & communication skills.
• Experience with agile frameworks (Scrum or Spotify).
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the strategic technology roadmap for the area and align with Core Banking's direction.
• Lead the team's backlog and balance transformation with daily operations.
• Set clear goals, remove impediments, and ensure transparent progress.
• Provide technical input to Core Banking's transformation and future solutions.
• Drive AI-assisted development and improve quality across the team.
• Manage vendor deliveries and collaboration with external partners.
• Grow and develop a high-performing team through coaching and development plans.
