Job summary

Podimo in Copenhagen, Berlin, or Amsterdam is seeking an Analytics Engineer for the BI team responsible for the company-wide data platform. You will translate business needs into scalable data models, BI interfaces, and self-service analytics to enable AI-powered decision making.

You will work with dbt, SQL, BigQuery and Looker to build semantic layers, dashboards, and cost-efficient ETL, while mentoring teammates and promoting data quality.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in BI, data or analytics engineering.
• Strong experience with SQL, dbt, BigQuery, Git, and data visualization tools (Looker).
• Good understanding of data modelling and data warehousing principles.
• Experience writing dbt tests and unit tests, with a focus on data quality.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business teams to translate needs into data solutions.
• Transform and model data sources using dbt, SQL, BigQuery, and Looker/LookML.
• Develop dashboards and self-service tools for insights and decisions.
• Advise on AI-assisted workflows and semantic layer definitions.
• Optimize BigQuery costs and implement partitioning and incremental processing.
