Job summary

Tekla is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to bring data in-house and shape how the company uses data and AI. You will own the data platform end-to-end, from pipelines to BI semantic layer, working with marketing, commerce, finance and operations in Copenhagen.

You will focus on building dashboards in Power BI, Looker and Tableau, while enabling AI tools like Claude and supporting a data-driven culture across teams.

Qualifications

• We seek 4+ years in data/analytics engineering with modern data stacks.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, stats, math, engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on with ELT tooling (Weld, BigQuery, dbt).
• Strong SQL and dimensional modelling skills.
• Experience building dashboards in BI tools (Power BI/Looker/Tableau).
• Experience with API integrations and CI/CD practices.
• Comfort with using Claude for AI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the handover of Tekla's data platform from external partner (ELT, warehouse, semantic layer).
• Own pipelines from ERP/marketing platforms into BigQuery and dbt project.
• Develop semantic layer and dashboards; ensure data quality and access control.
• Collaborate with business units to translate questions into models and metrics.
• Support analytics, build AI-ready data foundations, and enable self-serve analytics.
