Job summary

Thunderstrike Aviation is expanding its Quality function and seeking a Quality Control Engineer to support development, verification, and production of next-generation UAS. This hands-on role spans from early design reviews to ramped production, ensuring conformity, reliability, and airworthiness.

You will work closely with Design, Manufacturing, and Test teams to establish inspection frameworks, verification practices, and documentation aligned with AS9100 requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in quality control, inspection, or manufacturing quality (aerospace/regulated industries preferred).
• Strong hands-on expertise with precision measurement and aerospace documentation practices.
• Knowledge of AS9100, AS9102 FAI, and aerospace conformity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define inspection requirements, acceptance criteria, and verification scope across products and processes.
• Establish inspection plans aligned with engineering intent and manufacturing maturity.
• Translate drawings and specs into actionable inspection instructions and reports.
• Support inspectors by clarifying requirements and ensuring consistency of standards.
• Lead or participate in NCR investigations and CAPA activities.
