Job summary

Thunderstrike Aviation is seeking a Technical Project Manager to drive engineering program execution across advanced UAV development programs. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage schedules and supplier activities, and ensure engineering deliverables are completed on time and aligned with business objectives.

The role combines technical understanding with strong project execution and stakeholder management capabilities, requiring extensive experience in aerospace-related programs

Qualifications

• 7–12+ years of experience in technical project or program management.
• Experience managing complex engineering development programs.
• Background in aerospace, defense, robotics, or advanced technology products.
• Strong experience with MS Project.
• Ability to work effectively with highly technical engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain integrated program schedules in MS Project; manage WBS, milestones, critical path, and drive planning and execution.
• Coordinate activities across software, communications, airframe, and operations; ensure alignment with program objectives.
• Track KPIs, manage risk registers and mitigation plans; identify schedule and delivery risks; escalate and resolve execution challenges; manage suppliers and external partners; track procurement timelines and support reviews.
• Maintain configuration control across documentation, software baselines, and BOM structures; ensure deliverables stay aligned with baselines.
• Provide management reporting on progress, risks, and resource needs to support executive decision-making.

• Own and maintain integrated program schedules in MS Project.
• Manage:
• Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
• Milestones
• Critical path activities
• Drive program planning and execution activities.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate activities across:
• Software
• Communications
• Airframe
• Operations
• Ensure alignment between technical teams and program objectives.

Risk & Performance Management

• Track program KPIs.
• Manage risk registers and mitigation plans.
• Identify schedule and delivery risks.
• Escalate and resolve execution challenges.
• Manage technical suppliers and external partners.
• Track:
• Procurement activities
• Timelines
• Support supplier reviews and acceptance activities.

Configuration & Documentation Control

• Maintain configuration control across:
• Documentation
