Job summary

Thunderstrike Aviation is expanding its Quality organization and seeks a Junior Quality Technician to support inspection across the unmanned system lifecycle. You will participate in incoming, in-process, and final inspections, raising nonconformances and assisting with investigations within a fast-growing aerospace team.

Qualifications

• Technical education or early career in quality inspection, production, manufacturing, electronics, mechanics, aviation, or related field.
• Interest in quality assurance and structured technical environment.
• Familiarity with technical drawings; GD&T is an advantage.
• Basic experience with measurement tools and inspection equipment.
• Willingness to learn inspection methods, documentation, and aerospace standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections across items, materials, and configurations.
• Execute inspections supporting different lifecycle stages from prototypes to production.
• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using calibrated tools.
• Verify conformity against drawings, specifications, and revisions.
• Maintain and use inspection tools and equipment per defined practices.
• Conduct pre-test/pre-flight inspections to verify configuration and release status.
• Carry out post-test/post-flight inspections to identify damage or deviations.
• Support test activities by verifying items and documenting results.
• Contribute to investigation and resolution of quality issues with evidence-based input.
