Job summary

AAK seeks a Local Operational Excellence Specialist to drive site-level execution of the OE program in Aarhus. You will work directly with operators and supervisors to translate global standards into measurable improvements and foster a culture of daily management and continuous improvement.

The role requires hands-on shop-floor leadership, strong Lean/TPM knowledge, and excellent communication. You will collaborate across functions and travel regionally as needed to benchmark and share best

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years in manufacturing, operations, or CI.
• Hands-on shop-floor experience with KPI drivers.
• Proficient in Lean, TPM, and structured problem solving.
• Proven track record improving productivity, OEE, or cost.
• Strong coaching and facilitation skills.
• Excellent analytical and data interpretation.
• Strong communication and influencing abilities.
• Willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Execute and sustain the OE roadmap at site level.
• Embed Daily Management Systems, KPI reviews, and standard work.
• Lead problem solving using Lean, TPM, A3, RCA, 5 Why, Kaizen.
• Deliver improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Coach operators and frontline teams in OE practices.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Standardize SOPs and best practices to sustain improvements.
• Link to regional OE lead and share best practices.
