Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware seeks a Youth Worker to assist in operating a quality school-age childcare program for children ages 6–12. The role involves complying with state licensing requirements and ensuring safe, engaging programs aligned with the club’s core strategies.
The ideal candidate will be at least 18 years old and possess relevant certifications such as the School Age Site Assistant Certificate. Part-time employees meeting service criteria may be eligible for benefits.
Under the supervision of the Childcare or Program Director, the youth worker is responsible for assisting with the development and effective operation of a quality school-age childcare program that complies with current Delacare rules for school-age centers.

Varying from indoor to outdoor settings, with occasional statewide travel for training. Employees may be transferred between departments, clubs, or school sites as organizational needs change.
Monday–Friday
Medical Benefits – Part-time employees who meet the criteria of at least one year of service averaging 30 hours per week are eligible per Affordable Care Act (ACA) Guidelines.
Vision & Dental – Eligibility after one year of service averaging 25 hours per week.
