About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Windchill System Administrator to support and optimize enterprise-wide Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. You’ll play a key role in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of PTC Windchill, ensuring reliability, performance, and seamless integration with CAD and enterprise applications.
This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role for an experienced professional who thrives in complex engineering environments and enjoys solving technical challenges at scale.
What You’ll Do
- Administer and maintain PTC Windchill systems (installation, configuration, support, upgrade).
- Manage system and business administration, including workflows, lifecycles, and vault configurations.
- Perform Windchill rehost / cloning and support replica vaulting.
- Configure Windchill visualization services and Workgroup Manager.
- Ensure system stability, performance, and data integrity across global teams.
- Integrate Windchill with CAD tools (CREO, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) and enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, MES).
- Support DevOps and CI / CD initiatives for Windchill deployments.
- Work on CAD, BOM, Change Management, and Quality / Risk Management functionalities.
- Develop and debug customizations using Eclipse IDE and scripting languages.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5+ years in Windchill administration (senior / lead level preferred).
- Deep understanding of PLM concepts and PTC Windchill architecture.
- Strong background in Windows / Linux server administration and databases (Oracle, MS SQL).
- Scripting experience (Shell, Perl, JavaScript).
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Windchill 12.x (and 11.x).
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to DevOps tools, CI / CD pipelines, and automation.
- Knowledge of ProjectLink, PartsLink, and Quality Management modules.
