GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Technician responsible for maintaining the optimal function of wind turbines within the SD2 Hub. This position requires local travel to different wind sites and entails work in turbine operations, safety, and quality control.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and preferably experience as a Wind Technician. Benefits include comprehensive medical coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and paid vacation.
The Wind Technician position requires local travel within the hub. The Wind Technician is a critical and active role to maintain optimal function and output at the wind site by working daily on turbine operations, safety, quality control and warranty repairs. The Wind Technician partners and communicates with the Site Lead and Manager to execute contractual requirements and timelines and ensures alignment with GE excellence.
This position is not a remote role; the work location includes all wind sites within the SD2 Hub. Employees are expected to work at all sites within this Hub as assigned by their manager.
Base pay range: $31.68–$34.75 per hour.
