Decadis in Koblenz is seeking a working student in Business Intelligence to apply your studies to real-world analytics projects. You’ll work with Power BI and SAS to develop future-proof data models and turn large data sets into actionable insights for our customers.

In this hands-on role you’ll assist in dashboard creation, data integration, and troubleshooting, while collaborating with our consulting team. Fluent German and good English are required, and a flexible hybrid work setup is offered.

• Support client projects: assist design, modeling, and implementation of BI solutions using MS Power BI and SAS.
• Hands-on analytics: contribute to dashboards and data pipelines for internal and client environments.
• Analyze & troubleshoot: replicate business requirements, reproduce issues, and help develop solutions.
• Data integration & processing: assist in integration, transformation, and preparation of data from various sources.

• Supporting client projects: Assisting our consulting team with the design, modeling, and implementation of modern business analytics solutions (e.g., using MS Power BI and SAS).
• Hands-on Analytics: Collaborate on internal and client-facing analytics environments, and assist in the creation and further development of dashboards and data pipelines.
• Analysis & Troubleshooting: Assisting with the analysis of business requirements, reproducing technical issues, and developing solutions.
• Data Integration & Processing: Support for the integration, transformation, and processing/preparation of data from various source systems.
• Teamwork & Knowledge Sharing: Close collaboration within the project team and preparation of data to provide a sound basis for decision-making.

Your background.

What does it take?

• Current Degree Program: Enrolled student in (Business) Computer Science, Information Management, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, or a comparable degree program.
• Tech Enthusiasm: Strong interest in data modeling, relational databases/SQL, and, ideally, some initial experience with programming languages (e.g., Python) or BI tools.
• Analytical Mind: Quick to grasp new concepts, strong logical thinking skills, and a curiosity about new technologies in the data and analytics field.
• Work Style & Team Spirit: Ability to work independently and in an organized manner, reliability, and a passion for teamwork.
• Languages: Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English.
