Euro Auctions UK Ltd is seeking a Wash-bay Operative for our site in Dormagen, Germany. The role runs Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with pre-auction weekend duties, reporting to the Auction Yard Manager.

Responsibilities include power washing machines, presenting gear to a high standard, and loading/unloading machinery. Candidates should be able to operate heavy equipment and trucks outdoors in all weathers and be physically fit for climbing on/off machinery.

• Willingness to work regular overtime during busy auction periods.
• Prior experience operating heavy equipment.
• Previous experience in a similar role.

Job Title: Wash-bay Operative - Germany Reporting to: Auction Yard Manager Location: Dormagen Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm and pre auction weekend.

Euro Auctions conducts unreserved auctions of industrial plant, construction equipment and agricultural machinery on a global basis with sites in the UK, Europe, UAE, Australia, US and Canada. We are the market leader in Europe, holding more sales and selling more lots per sale than any other auction house.

We currently require an experienced telehandler operator to lead and assist in preparation of the yard prior to the sale, and movement of machinery during the auction.

Key Activities:

• Power washing the exterior of machines.
• Ensure all machines are presented to a high standard.
• Assisting other staff in organising and preparing the yard for each sale
• Loading and unloading of machinery.

The Person:

This role is an active, outdoor job and requires someone with the ability to operate all types of heavy equipment and trucks. You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers as well as being physically fit to climb on and off machinery. If you have a knowledge of heavy plant/mining/quarry equipment, then we especially want to hear from you.

• 30 Days Annual Leave + additional days for long service.
