Zusammenfassung

Acre is seeking a Warehouse Manager in Stuttgart to build and lead our warehouse function for a new solar distribution entity. You will design the facility, implement processes and establish systems to support scalable, safe operations and excellent customer service.

You will recruit and develop the warehouse team, set inventory controls and KPIs, and manage relationships with transport providers and 3PLs. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong project management, and fluency in German

Aufgaben

• Lead the establishment and commissioning of the warehouse facility, including layout design, fit-out and operational readiness.
• Develop and implement warehouse processes, inventory controls, SOPs and operational KPIs.
• Lead the implementation and optimisation of warehouse systems, including NetSuite, WMS and reporting tools.
• Build the warehouse organisational structure and recruit, onboard and develop the warehouse team.
• Establish and manage relationships with transport providers, suppliers and third-party logistics partners.
• Ensure full compliance with local legislation, licences, health & safety requirements and operational readiness prior to go-live.
• Develop warehouse budgets, resource plans and scalable operational processes to support future business growth.
• Develop business continuity, emergency response and risk management procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement from warehouse establishment through to operational maturity.
• Ensure accurate inbound, outbound and inventory operations while maintaining high customer service standards.

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for establishing and leading the warehouse operation for the solar distributor's new entity. This role will build the warehouse function from the ground up, including warehouse setup, operational processes, systems implementation, inventory controls, safety compliance, staffing and logistics. Once operational, the Warehouse Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of warehouse activities to ensure efficient, safe and scalable operations while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the establishment and commissioning of the warehouse facility, including layout design, fit-out, equipment procurement and operational readiness.
• Develop and implement warehouse processes, inventory controls, SOPs and operational KPIs.

Key Skill Knowledge and Attributes

• Proven working experience as a Logistics/Operations/Warehouse Manager
• Record of successful distribution and logistics management
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
• Proficient in standard logistics software
• Proven experience establishing or commissioning warehouse operations, distribution centres or logistics facilities.
• Experience building warehouse teams from recruitment through operational readiness.
• Demonstrated experience implementing warehouse processes and inventory systems.
• Experience working in a fast-growing or start-up environment is highly desirable.
• Strong project management and change management experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
• Strong safety leadership in high-risk work area
• Hands-on leadership with ability to react and troubleshoot/problem solve
• Knowledge of the solar industry is advantageous
• Knowledge and experienced in use of the Microsoft Suite
• Knowledge and experienced in use of the G Suite
• Knowledge and experienced in use of the Oracle NetSuite
• Experience with Dropbox
• Native or business-level proficiency in German and fluent English (written and spoken)

Qualifications and Licencing Requirements

• Cert III in Warehousing Operations (preferred) or min 3 years in similar role
• Diploma of Logistics (preferred) or min 3 years in similar role
