Job summary

VSE, a leading Global Aerospace Distributor, is seeking a Warehouse Associate III in Germany. You will fulfill and package customer orders, receive incoming material, and prep orders for domestic shipping. You will work in a team to meet targets, safety standards, and quality controls.

Responsibilities include coordinating with local freight forwarders, preparing shipping paperwork, performing inventory counts, and supporting AOG off-hours shipments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 4 years warehouse or distribution experience.
• Forklift proficiency and safety compliance important.
• Proficient with MS Office; WMS experience preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team.
• On-call availability and reliable transportation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving: count and verify quantities per PO and paperwork.
• Picking and packing to ensure correct quantities and packaging.
• Shipping: prepare documentation, labels, and airway bills.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders for order pickup.
• Inventory control: cycle counts and put-away accuracy.
• Support AOG shipments and maintain clean work areas.

SUMMARY: As part of a leading Global Aerospace Distributor, the Warehouse Associate III is responsible for fulfilling and packaging customer orders, receiving incoming material, and preparing customer orders for domestic shipping, The Warehouse Associate will be required to work in a team environment to achieve the expected results.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Coordinates with local Freight Forwarders and logistic providers for sales order pickup on applicable shipments.Prepares sales orders for domestic and international shipping, generating, and verifying that all required documentation is included in the shipment.Proficient in core operational processes:Receiving: counting quantity per PO requirements, and validating supplier paperwork is accurate.Inventory Put away: Placing incoming material in appropriate location.Picking: Moving from location to location based on pick ticket requirements, counting and bagging quantity requirements.Shipping: determining weights and box dimensions and generating all relevant paperwork, packing slip, invoice, airway bill, export documentation (if applicable).Capable of performing inventory cycle counts.Support of AOG (Aircraft-on-the-Ground) off-hour shipments.Ensures warehouse and workstations are clean and organized.Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalent.4 years warehouse or distribution experience.Ability to safely perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving items up to 25 kg, in accordance with workplace health and safety procedures.High-level forklift proficiency.Availability for on-call work as required.Reliable transportation is essential due to site location.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including word, excel, and outlook.Strong understanding of Warehouse Management System (WMS) inventory and dispatch processes.Must be detail oriented, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.Able to work in a cross functional team environment.PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:Formal education degree or technical certification.5+ years of professional work experience.Intermediate computer knowledge.Knowledge of Component Control Quantum.
