Auditing and Corporate Governance

In research and teaching, we are looking for a person with broad expertise and high didactic competence who represents the field of auditing and corporate governance. The future position holder should ideally focus on digitalization/artificial intelligence in auditing or the examination of the regulatory framework for corporate governance and control. In addition to excellent quantitative research, the candidate is expected to participate in the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes offered by the faculty in German and English and to contribute to continuing education programmes such as the WPO Master’s programme. If the required German language skills are not fully available at the start of the appointment, the candidate shall prove their proficiency within two years. The chair holder will play a key role in shaping the faculty’s transfer activities and will convert research findings into practice.

The candidate must meet the appointment requirements according to section 36 ff. Hochschulgesetz NW.
