United States Digital Space LLC, a Berlin-based startup, seeks a Visiting Finance Associate to help build financial models, analyze SaaS metrics, support budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to investor reporting as the company scales.

You will gain hands-on exposure to high-growth finance, including fundraising, board reporting, and strategic projects, while taking ownership of meaningful finance initiatives from analysis to insights.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or related field.
• Proven internship or roles in VC, PE, IB, or consulting (1–2).
• Strong analytical and structured thinking with ability to break down problems and work with numbers confidently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to explain financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
• Curiosity about startups, technology, and how high-growth companies are built and scaled.
• Low-ego team player comfortable working with founders and doing hands-on operational work.

• Support founders and leadership on financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making.
• Work with budgeting, forecasting, performance tracking, and month-end close processes.
• Build and maintain financial models related to revenue, pricing, unit economics, and growth scenarios.
• Analyze key financial and operational metrics (ARR, churn, CAC, LTV, burn, runway) and turn data into insights.
• Assist with monthly reporting, board materials, and investor updates.
• Support fundraising and investor diligence, and ad-hoc strategic analyses as needed.
• Take ownership of finance-related projects end-to-end from framing to execution and presentation.

About the role

We’re looking for a Visiting Finance Associate to work closely with our founders and finance team on the financial and strategic foundations of the company as we scale. In this role, you’ll help build financial models, analyze key SaaS metrics, support budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to investor reporting and strategic projects. You’ll gain hands‑on exposure to how a high‑growth startup operates, from financial planning and operational analysis to fundraising and board reporting, while taking ownership of meaningful finance projects from analysis through to insights and recommendations.

What you’ll do

Support the founders and leadership team on financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision‑making at the company

• Work closely with the founders and our Head of Finance on budgeting, forecasting, performance tracking, and day‑to‑day finance operations such as month‑end close processes and invoice tracking.
• Build and maintain financial models related to revenue, pricing, unit economics, and growth scenarios
• Analyze key financial and operational metrics (ARR, churn, CAC, LTV, burn, runway) and turn data into clear insights and recommendations
• Assist with monthly reporting, board materials, and investor updates
• Support (external) fundraising and grant applications, investor diligence, and ad‑hoc strategic analyses as needed
• Take ownership of finance‑related projects end‑to‑end, from problem framing to execution and presentation

What we’re looking for

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field

• Proven experience through 1–2 internships or roles in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, consulting
• Strong analytical and structured thinking, with the ability to break down complex problems and work with numbers confidently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, you can clearly explain financial insights to non‑finance stakeholders
• Curiosity about startups, technology, and how high‑growth companies are built and scaled
• Low‑ego team player who’s comfortable working closely with founders and getting hands‑on with operational work

Bonus points

Experience building financial models, forecasts, or dashboards

• Exposure to SaaS metrics, subscription businesses, or usage‑based pricing models
• Familiarity with accounting basics, financial statements, or reporting processes
• Experience in a fast‑paced or high‑ownership environment
• Strong interest in venture‑backed companies, and the startup ecosystem

Compensation: €3K per month
