Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg invites a motivated graduate in aerospace or mechanical engineering to join the Environmental Control System analytics project as a VIE for two years. You will evaluate ECS data across aircraft platforms, develop dashboards, and refine system models to extract actionable insights for operational understanding.
Work includes collaboration in a dynamic international environment, flexible work options, and opportunities to travel within Europe.
Are you a highly motivated graduate in aerospace or mechanical engineering with a strong interest in data analytics and system modelling? The Environmental Control System of passenger aircraft is an essential component which provides air supply, thermal control and cabin pressurization for the crew and passengers. With the availability of system models as well as operational in-service data, we are looking for a VIE to evaluate and analyze operational ECS data across various aircraft platforms in order to extract meaningful insights and operational understanding. We look forward to you supporting us in the Air Generation and Fuel Cell department as a Volunteer for International Experience (VIE)!
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Candidates meeting these criteria and interested in a VIE. For graduates who would be interested in a career with Airbus, this could be the start of a rewarding future in a dynamic and forward-thinking sector.
You will be working at the largest German production site for civil aircraft located in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets (aero-) nautic legacy.
This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
