Role Summary

Take the financial lead for one of the most dynamic and challenging divisions at MANN+HUMMEL. As Vice President Finance & Controlling Air Filtration LS&E Europe, based in Sprockhövel (Germany), you will be responsible for steering the financial performance of our Life Sciences & Environment (LS&E) segment in Europe.

With its international structures, ongoing integration of acquired entities, and rapidly evolving processes, LS&E offers a unique opportunity to shape and implement financial excellence in a highly visible role.

Main Tasks

  • Full responsibility for Finance & Controlling of Air Filtration LS&E Europe, including coordination of activities with our global Shared Service Centers
  • Establish and develop transparent reporting and forecasting processes tailored to LS&E’s dynamic market needs, ensuring reliability and strategic alignment
  • Plan, budget, and track the execution of strategic initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support profitable growth
  • Drive IT and finance system migrations, integrating LS&E into global finance structures and ensuring digital, future-proof processes
  • Lead and develop diverse finance teams through coaching, engagement, and empowerment to foster high performance and professional growth
  • Continuously improve processes and reporting structures with modern IT tools and digital technologies, ensuring customer- and process-oriented outputs
  • Strengthen Working Capital management with a focus on Accounts Receivable and KPI deployment across all organizational levels
  • Contribute to pricing and profitability models, ensuring financial transparency and competitiveness in the LS&E market environment
  • Develop and implement comprehensive risk mitigation strategies (financial and operational), securing LS&E’s long-term success
  • Ensure close collaboration with executive peers across Europe and globally, representing Finance in strategic initiatives and business-critical projects

Your Profile

  • Education: University degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, or comparable field; MBA or professional certifications (CPA, CFA, CMA) are an advantage
  • Professional Experience: At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in Finance & Controlling with proven leadership in international and matrix-driven organizations
  • Expertise:
    • Strong track record in IT migrations and finance system integrations
    • Strategic, entrepreneurial mindset combined with operational execution strength
    • Proven success in leading high-performing teams and managing complex, international projects
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English and very good German skills (written and spoken)
  • Personality:
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels, including C-level
    • Intercultural competence and experience in international working environments
    • Willingness to travel up to 10-15%
    • Organized, creative, and motivated with a strong drive for success
