Job summary

Strato Personal GmbH in Germany seeks a Contract Manager (m/f/d) to draft, revise and optimize procurement contracts for Airbus Defence and Space and related projects. You will lead negotiations, assess risks, and ensure compliance across the contract lifecycle.

You will advise internal teams on contract drafting, confidentiality and IP matters, and contribute to training programs for junior buyers. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on contract management in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in the field of Law
• Professional experience in Law, Contract Law, Program and Supplier Management
• Very good knowledge of using MS Office
• Fluent in English and German

Responsibilities

• Draft, revise, and optimize standard procurement contracts, ensuring all relevant commercial, economic, technological, legal, and risk management requirements are addressed
• Prepare and conduct contract negotiations with Procurement Commodity Buyers, including complex contract amendments and settlement agreements throughout the contract lifecycle
• Review and validate contracts by assessing key terms, deviations, risks, and opportunities, and analyze existing agreements during contract administration or in the event of potential disputes with suppliers
• Provide specialized contractual expertise and advice to Procurement and other internal functions on contract drafting, design, negotiations, and contractual implications of internal projects, including confidentiality and intellectual property matters
• Develop and enhance Procurement Academy training programs and provide coaching and on-the-job training to junior buyers in contract management and negotiations
