We are expanding our SaaS & Infra Team and are looking for an Associate to join us in Munich, Paris, or Berlin.

About the Position

As an Associate, you will play a key role in identifying and supporting the next generation of transformative SaaS & Infra startups. You will be actively involved in every stage of the investment lifecycle, from scouting trends and sourcing deals to conducting due diligence and providing ongoing support to our portfolio companies. In this role, you will build close relationships with founders and contribute to their growth and success.

Your Responsibilities

• Be present in the market to source and screen unique investment opportunities relevant to our investment thesis.
• Perform in‑depth commercial due diligence and build investment cases.
• Prepare summary materials and present investment recommendations in deal meetings.
• Actively monitor portfolio companies.
• Represent Speedinvest at conferences and events.
• Assist with special projects on an as‑needed basis.

Your Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with an excellent academic track record, ideally in a technical field.
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience in a fast‑paced environment (e.g. tech startup, venture capital, private equity, tier‑1 consulting, or bulge bracket investment banking). Prior VC or startup experience is a big plus.
• Exceptional numerical skills and attention to detail under pressure.
• A strong interest in cutting‑edge technologies, particularly within the building blocks of software & AI.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Fluency in German or French is a plus.
• An ability to build and maintain a professional network in the European tech ecosystem.
