Senior Community Care of Colorado PACE in Eckert, CO is seeking a Van Driver to safely transport participants to appointments and activities. The role requires a compassionate, reliable approach and punctual service.

Shifts are Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm with occasional weekends. A valid Colorado driver’s license, insurance, and at least one year of experience with the frail and elderly are required.

Qualifikationen

Pay Range: $19.50 - $23.50 per hour, based on previous work experience.


Schedules: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm with occasional weekends.

What You Bring (Requirements)



  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Valid Driver’s License in state of Colorado.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation.

  • Have a minimum of one year experience in working with the frail and elderly population.

  • Able to read and understand maps and routing information.

  • Knowledge of safety requirements pertaining to the transportation industry.


What You’ll Be Responsible For


The Van Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of Senior Community Care (SCC) participants and communicating any safety issue to the Transportation Manager.



  • Transports participants to and from medical/specialist appointments, and activity outings, as requested by the Interdisciplinary Team via the plan of care.

  • Transports meals, durable medical equipment, pharmacy, and any other items as deemed necessary for participant.

  • Responsible for Senior Community Care passengers during transport, providing care in a manner which ensures participant satisfaction.

  • Follows assigned schedule, makes adjustments to meet unanticipated changes, while considering the needs of the participant and requirements of the PACE Center. Communicates these changes to dispatch.

As a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) provider and the first of its kind in Western Colorado, our interdisciplinary teams deliver personalized, comprehensive care tailored to each participant’s needs. Nestled at the base of Grand Mesa in beautiful Delta County, our location provides a peaceful, small-town setting surrounded by orchards, scenic byways, and easy access to outdoor recreation, local farms, and the charm of nearby communities.
