Nortal is seeking a senior leader to re-architect operations behind logistics, telecom, FMCG, financial services and insurance. The Value Architect will bridge platform strategy and boardroom priorities, shaping investments and value cases across order-to-cash, claims, billing and data platforms.

The role requires deep supply-chain expertise, fluent German and English, and the ability to drive cross-functional engagement with sales, operations and C-level stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in supply chain, logistics, telecom or FMCG digitalisation, with finance/insurance as asset.
• Experience applying AI, automation or advanced analytics within service/platform environments.

Overview

We're looking for a senior supply chain and platforms leader who can re-architect the operations behind logistics, telecom, FMCG, financial services and insurance businesses, and turn that ambition into fundable business cases.

As a Value Architect, Supply Chain, Services & B2B Platforms, you'll bridge the gap between the platform and the boardroom. One day you might be discussing order-to-cash architecture or claims platforms with operations teams; the next you'll be helping a CIO or COO prioritise investments that improve throughput, cost-to-serve and platform resilience.

Working alongside our sales and account teams, you'll shape opportunities rather than simply respond to them. You bring supply-chain and B2B-services expertise, technical credibility and commercial judgement to define the right solution, drawing on Nortal's full portfolio of AI, data, cloud and business transformation capabilities. From the first client conversation through to delivery, you'll help logistics, telecom, FMCG, financial services and insurance organisations achieve measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead transformation conversations with stakeholders and primary buyers such as CIO, CPO, COO and Head of Operations, translating operational ambition into fundable value cases.
• Architect the operations and platform estate spanning order-to-cash, logistics and distribution, claims and policy, billing and onboarding, customer service and the data platforms beneath them.
• Shape engagements that combine agentic AI, legacy modernisation and data platform work, drawing on Nortal's shared enterprise portfolio.
• Partner closely with sales and account teams to qualify opportunities, shape solutions and provide technical credibility throughout the sales process.
• Help clients identify the highest-value investment opportunities, improving throughput, cost-to-serve and platform resilience.
• Lead workshops, assessments and discovery engagements that establish clear transformation roadmaps.
• Support delivery as a solution or programme architect on engagements you help originate, ensuring business outcomes remain at the centre of delivery.
• Collaborate with Nortal's wider network of Value Architects and subject matter experts to bring together the right capabilities for each client.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in supply chain, logistics, telecom or FMCG digitalisation, customer-side or as a senior consultant. Experience in financial services or insurance is an asset.
• Strong expertise in order, billing, customer and workforce platforms, and in AI-augmented operations such as process mining and agentic workflows.
• Practical experience applying AI, automation or advanced analytics within service and platform environments.
• Ability to build compelling business cases and engage confidently with both operations teams and C-level executives.
• Comfortable working alongside sales teams, bringing technical leadership and commercial insight without owning the commercial relationship.
• Experience navigating complex enterprise portfolios and identifying the most appropriate solution for each client challenge.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Experience in industries such as banking, insurance, retail, travel and hospitality, professional services, or subscription and marketplace platforms is highly desirable.
