Zusammenfassung

ALTEN is seeking a V.I.E Production Planning Engineer in Bayern to join our engineering team. You will coordinate stakeholders from suppliers to customers and manage production scheduling to ensure on-time delivery and aerospace quality requirements.

You will monitor KPIs, control stock and procurement, and support Lean/6 Sigma initiatives while leveraging ERP systems such as SAP. English and German fluency are required; additional languages are a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in mechanical, industrial, or aerospace engineering with a focus on production or quality techniques.
• Initial experience in production planning, manufacturing engineering, or quality assurance.
• Practical experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate stakeholders for production activities from suppliers to customers.
• Plan and schedule production to ensure timely delivery and aerospace quality.
• Control stock levels and procure parts to maintain supply chain continuity.
• Monitor KPIs (on-time delivery, quality metrics, non-conformities, efficiency) and define improvements.
• Support quality initiatives including audits and root-cause analysis (Lean/6 Sigma).

• fulfill the general V.I.E program requirements (EU-graduate, aged between 18 and 28 years)
• have completed a mechanical, industrial, or aerospace engineering degree with a focus on production or quality techniques
• have initial experience in production planning, manufacturing engineering, or quality assurance, ideally in the aerospace industry
• have practical experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and are comfortable analyzing production data
• are an open and communicative person with strong organizational skills
• speak fluent English and German; additional languages are a plus
