UnzerGroup seeks high-potential graduates for its UnzerNEXT program, an 18-month engineering track designed to turn graduates into engineers capable of delivering real-world features in a payments-focused team.

You will work with a mentor, apply AI tools by default, and rotate across two placements before delivering a Signature Project with measurable business impact.

Qualifikationen

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, graduating in 2026 or within last 12 months.
• Strong CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, systems thinking).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language; familiarity with modern development practices (Git, testing, CI/CD).
• Ability to effectively use AI tools in software development workflows.
• Experience with software development through academic projects, internships, open source, or personal work.
• Solid written communication skills (clear PR descriptions, documentation, and design explanations).

• Develop technical and professional skills through the structured curriculum, mentoring, and hands-on experience in real engineering environments.

• Apply AI tools as a default part of the development workflow, including spec writing, code generation, verification, and review.
• Participate in two team placements across different domains to build a broad understanding of Unzer’s systems and business.

ABOUT THE POSITION

UnzerNEXT is Unzer's graduate program which turns graduates into engineers who ship real work. Over 18 months you join a payments team, work alongside a senior mentor, build with AI by default, and deliver a Signature Project of your own. You graduate ready to grow into a mid-level engineer at Unzer.

What you need to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, graduating in 2026 or graduated within the last 12 months.
• Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, systems thinking).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language and familiarity with modern development practices (Git, testing, CI/CD).
• Ability to effectively use AI tools in software development workflows.
• Experience with software development through academic projects, internships, open source, or personal work.
• Solid written communication skills (clear PR descriptions, documentation, and design explanations).
