Zusammenfassung

Thera Bytes GmbH in Bavaria is building a first-person tactical co-op shooter using Unreal Engine 5. We seek an ambitious Unreal game developer with multiplayer experience to join our small core team.

You will work with Blueprint and C++, implement gameplay systems, AI behavior trees, UI, and animation blueprints, and collaborate across disciplines. Flexible remote work with meetups around Munich is offered. Fluent German and shooter background preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Solid hands-on experience with Unreal Engine and blueprints.
• Experience developing advanced multiplayer games.
• Fluent German and ability to collaborate with a German-speaking team.

• Develop and own parts of a four-player co-op multiplayer shooter using Unreal Engine 5.

With a small and dedicated team, we are currently working on a first-person tactical co-op game using Unreal Engine 5. The game features a realistic, military-focused setting with a strong emphasis on simulation and tactical gameplay.

We are searching for an ambitious Unreal game developer with experience in developing advanced multiplayer games using Blueprint.

• Take ownership and become a vital part of our small core team
• Work on a tactical FPS using Unreal 5 alongside dedicated teammates embracing the genre
• Enjoy flexible remote work options and having the chance to meet in person around Munich
• Shape the Battlefield
• Help develop a four player co-op multiplayer tactical shooter with focus on PvE
• Work with Unreal Engine 5 and Blueprints
• Make use of C++ where necessary
• Integrate UI as well as gameplay mechanics
• Write complete game systems and behavior trees
• Work with animation blueprints
• You like FPS and even more love to build them
• Solid hands-on experience with Unreal Engine and blueprints
• A portfolio of hobby or commercial projects that shows your skills and versatility (no portfolio = no review)
• Good communicator, great at giving feedback, syncing with other disciplines and keeping everyone aligned
• Having deep understanding of vector- and quaternion mathematics
• Self-organized and active, with a willingness to learn new tech or methods
• A strong feeling for what players connect with
• Fluent German
